Dr. Saswato Majumdar is a highly skilled Physiatrist with nine years of experience in neurorehabilitation, pain management, and musculoskeletal rehabilitation. He is committed to improving patient outcomes through a holistic, team-based approach rooted in functional recovery.
He earned his MBBS from the University of Dhaka in 2013 and completed his DNB in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at IPGME&R Annex II Sambhu Nath Pandit Hospital, Kolkata, in 2020. His passion for rehabilitation medicine began during his housestaffship (2015–2017) at CNMC&H, Kolkata.
Dr. Majumdar has served as a Senior Resident in the Department of PM&R at NRSMC&H, Kolkata (2020–2024) and worked concurrently as a Junior Consultant at Dr. Mouli Madhab Ghatak’s Medical Rehabilitation Center.
He is extensively trained in USG/Fluoroscopy-guided pain and spasticity interventions, applying advanced techniques to restore mobility and improve quality of life. With deep expertise in patient-centered rehabilitation and interdisciplinary collaboration, Dr. Majumdar now brings his expertise to HCAH’s rehabilitation team, continuing to lead recovery journeys with evidence-based care.
